Restaurant Tropical
Ingredients for 4 people:
- 1 Bottle of Pálido Rum from Motril
- 3 Sugar canes
- 3 o 4 brown sugar soup spoons
- 1/2 cinnamon stick
- 1 lemon peel and an orange
Method:
Peel the sugar canes and cut them into sticks. Then, introduce them into the rum and leave them there during some days.
In a pan made of ceramic from Granada, place the macerated sugar canes, the lemon peel, the orange, the brown sugar and the cinnamon stick.
Heat the rum in a cauldron. Once it is hot, pour it into the ceramic pan, bring a match closer and once it is burning, move the ingredients little by little until part of the rum has burnt. Approximately 10 or 15 minutes, depending on the amount.
Leave it settled and pour it into small cups made of ceramic from Granada. It is usually drunk in sips at the same time you suck the sugar canes.
It is a good digestive drink.

Weinkeller Rum Montero
Ingredients for 1 litre:
- Pálido Montero Rum (200-300 ml.)
- 4 cans of 7-Up
- A lot of ice
Method:
Mix all the ingredients, leave it to cool and….enjoy!!!
